The PhD involved Aminat formulating and testing condensed phosphate ceramics, as well as establishing a link between material degradation and the presence of a biological stimulus associated with bone formation.

Whilst working in the oil and gas industry, Aminat formulated and developed automotive and industrial lubricating oils, and confirmed pre-prescribed standards were met through testing.

With significant experience of ceramic sintering, Aminat works on the Low Energy Firing Project examining the processing of advanced ceramic materials and the effects of sintering atmospheres.
