Most of Stephen's working career (40 years to date) has been spent in the Ceramic and related Industry.
This is predominantly in the Tile sector (around 25 years); mainly wall tiles but also floor tiles to a lesser extent (now classed as Groups 1, 2 and 3).
Steve has mainly been responsible for body development (intermediate stages and final product) and raw materials sourcing and testing, as well as also being involved in process troubleshooting and problem solving aimed at improving yield.
He is a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry (MRSC) having graduated in 1978 and also holds a post graduate diploma in management studies (or DMS) gained in 1991.
As a member of various teams, Steve has been involved with auditing in areas of quality, environmental and health and safety.
