Sara brings significant expertise in the characterization of superalloys, metals processing, and manufacturing methods to support scale-up and research and development projects. She adds a unique dimension to our metallurgical capabilities with her vast knowledge of materials engineering and processing, and experience in the electronic materials industry.
She performs compositional, morphological and structural analyzes of alloys and is experienced in characterizing the oxidation, corrosion and hydrogen embrittlement behavior of high strength metals. She also evaluates polymeric coatings.
Sara holds a B.S. in Materials Engineering from Virginia Tech, and a Ph.D. in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Florida. She has also held several teaching assignments.
