Wear Test Engineer
Alan attended Clemson University obtaining a bachelor’s degree in bioengineering. As an undergraduate, he was heavily involved in Clemson’s biotribology lab where he was introduced to the realm of knee replacement wear testing.
Alan continues his interest in orthopaedic implant testing at Lucideon’s facility located in Schenectady, NY. He runs and maintains the hip and knee simulators dedicated for the wear and performance assessment of total hip, total knee, total disc, and small joint replacement designs.
