Anike was appointed as CSO in 2018. In September 2022, she became Aegis Professor of Engineering Biology at the University of Bristol. In addition to her honorary professorship, she serves on the Scientific Advisory Board of BrisEngBio, where she contributes to the strategic direction. Prior to specialising in strategic evaluations and company growth, Anike treated patients as a general dentist and managed clinical trials worldwide for two leading dental implant manufacturers. She is a Certified Internal Auditor and worked in finance and internal controls. She has qualifications in Bachelor of Dental Science (BDS), BCom Accounting Sciences, BCom (Honours) Internal Auditing, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and a certificate in Foundations of Data Science.
