New Ceramic Technologies for the Move to Net-Zero (The Gallery, Catalyst Building, Staffordshire University, Stoke-On-Trent, UK) Lucideon and the Transforming Foundation Industries Network+ hosted the American Ceramics Society UK Chapter meeting. The focus of this event was on how ceramic technologies can be the solution and catalyst to achieve Net-Zero targets for the Ceramic sector but also more widely as enabling advanced materials. Ceramic Innovation Network (CIN): How to Bridge the Gap from Lab to Product and Teach the Next Generation (University of Manchester, Manchester, UK) The 2022 Ceramic Innovation Network (CIN) event brought together academics and industrialists from all subsectors of the ceramic industry seeking to explore the challenges of bridging the gap from the lab to product and teaching the next generation. Ceramic Innovation Network (CIN): Accelerating Clean Growth in Ceramics The annual CIN event brought together industrialists and academics from all subsectors of ceramic manufacturing to network and learn more about innovative ideas. The Ceramic Innovation Network consists of the British Ceramic Confederation (BCC) and Lucideon; and is supported by the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3), the University of Surrey, the Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) and the Frank Scott Russell Memorial fund. This year's event, hosted by Lucideon, in association with the British Ceramic Confederation, focused on Accelerating Clean Growth in Ceramics and the associated Government funding streams available to help businesses improve their energy efficiency, achieve decarbonisation and introduce new technology in their manufacturing processes. |
