Onsite Construction Products Testing

Onsite testing can be used to demonstrate that a system or solution fulfills the design criteria. When aiming to establish the in-situ performance of unknown construction types and the verification of installation workmanship, onsite testing is paramount.

Our experts utilize site investigations to determine material properties and to assess the structural integrity of walls, floors, roofs and structural elements. Other additional investigations can also be carried out to determine in-situ failures associated with the building superstructure or finishes.

We can also implement non-destructive visual surveys, sampling and destructive testing in order to determine the suitability or installation acceptability of specific materials. In order to define material properties or chemical composition, sampling is carried out onsite and analysis is conducted at our testing laboratories.

We can provide a customized work program based on the required objectives of the site investigation. A tailored testing regime can be developed to characterize the effects of in-situ live loadings such as wind loadings on vertical elements, wind loading acting on roofs, and imposed floor loadings. Similarly, environmental factors such as water penetration, acoustic performance and thermal performance can also be tested.
