Improving Production Processes in Energy-Intensive Foundation Industries
Lucideon, in collaboration with i3D robotics, experts in stereo vision systems, and Glass Technology Services, consultants to the glass manufacturing supply chain, has been working on a project to improve production processes within the energy-intensive foundation industries, specifically Glass and Ceramics.
Through machine vision systems, machine learning, and artificial intelligence algorithms, we're aiming to deliver a solution that will allow for highly accurate, repeatable production process measurements that will highlight defects using in-process, non-destructive testing of materials. This will result in the sectors becoming more efficient, less energy-intensive and contribute to the Government's net-zero carbon pledge.
Further details of the project will be on display at the RAI21 event hosted by the KTN. May 25-27th.
